RSEC is offering for sale one of our best beginner school horses. Abbey (aka Final Promise) is an 18 year old QH/Belgian cross mare who stands at 15.2hh.
This mare has been a fantastic schoolie for us and we are looking for a non-school horse home for her. She has done it all; trained both english and western, has competed throughout the province in multiple competitions and has numerous championships in all disciplines. She's done hunters (up to 2'6"), english, western, rider levels, 4-H, trail rides, etc.
100% healthy and sound, the only issue she has is that she must be kept shod as she's got toe cracks on both front feet. UTD on everything!

RSEC offers for sale Doc's Bold Ruler aka Robbie. Robbie is a stunningly gorgeous Appaloosa/TB gelding - he's a beautiful solid buckskin in colour, a grandson of Secretariat, has beautiful conformation and stands 15.2hh.
Robbie has been trained and ridden by RSEC's coach and requires an experienced rider. He's competed in the hunters up to 2'9", has great form over fences and goes very well on the flat. Only reason for selling is a lack of time. He would make a fantastic event horse as he excels both on the flat and over fences.

Toffee, registered as Twistin' Junior Toffee, is a 6 year old breeding stock Paint gelding who stands just over 15hh. Lovely mover, superb conformation, loads of potential, super jump. I'm told he has superb reining bloodlines.
Trained under english tack, competed in the x-rail and 2' Hunters last season always placing very well. Has jumped courses up to 2'3". Great to hack out as well.
Would make a nice horse for an experienced rider that is capable of finishing his training. He's wonderful if he's ridden consistantly but has had quite a break as we have too many horses and he's been left on the back burner, which is reflected in his price.

Teddy has been with us since he was a weanling and is very dear to our hearts; we are offering him for sale to a great home only where he will have the companionship of other horses or donkeys. He is about 13.3hh, brown in colour, the sweetest boy you will ever meet. Loves to be loved, loves attention, is great with the vet and farrier; he leads, ties and has been sat on. Nickels is a 10 year old, black 14hh Percheron/Arab mare. Used in our school for 5 years, she is well schooled flat/over fences. Very smooth gaits, competed Bronze level hunters up to 2'6" with lots of success. She is also trained western, has been used for Rider Level testing, 4-H, and has tons of show experience! She excels in all her flat classes and also does well in western pleasure. Suitable for intermediate beginners and up. She can be a bit pushy on the ground if you give her an inch, but has great manners if you keep her in line. This mare would be a great match for anyone looking for a solid mount for a school pony, trail pony, show pony etc. Good to hack out, good with vet, farrier, trailering, ties, clips, bathes, etc. Healthy and sound, UTD on everything. Very easy keeper, always been barefoot. Solid enough to carry a small adult. Downsizing the herd is the only reason for selling this lovely mare.

Behaves the same under saddle whether he's at home, at a show or out for a hack. Ideal pony for a young rider looking for their first mount (Intermediate Beginners and up), moving up to a large, or someone looking for a wonderful, kind pony for whichever discipline.

Proven broodmare; just weaned her first filly about a month ago and is a fantastic mom. Shania is one of our best beginner school horses. This mare is a very reliable, safe mount suitable for beginners and up. Has had some arthritis in her front right, but not an issue under light work. Jake is a 7 year old, 18.2hh black Percheron gelding.
He is trained under saddle; has not been harness trained. Jake had a rough start in life - he was abused abed came to us injured. He is very loving, friendly, great to ride and would make a wonderful harness horse with training. Beautiful mover, nice long legs. He is registered but we do not have his papers.
He will need some work on bitting as he does not like to have a bit put in his mouth, but with some consistent work this should not be an issue. We currently ride him in a bitless bridle. He's an easy keeper, good with farrier and vet, up to date on everything.

Mandy aka Cover Girl is a 7 year old, chestnut with lots of chrome Quarter Pony mare. Mandy is a large who stands 14.2hh with beautiful conformation and a very loving personality. Mandy has been with us since she was a yearling and had all of her training done at RSEC. She has lots of show experience, was so far shown hunter at the bronze level up to 2'6", and schooling at 2'9". Mandy is also great in the hacks, always places in the top 3, and is trained in harness, which she absolutely loves. We are looking to place this little lady in a fantastic new home with a young rider that can take her all the way. She doesn't enjoy the school horse life, as she is very sensitive and prefers one rider over many.
Sold to Isabelle from PEI, we wish them many great show seasons together and can't wait to see them during this year's competition season.

Mr. Big aka Gentle Giant is a 19 year old 16.1hh Appaloosa/Belgian gelding. School master used for lessons and trail rides in all disciplines. He is one of the best school horses that we have ever had the privilege of owning and has taught hundreds of students all about the love of horses and riding. Mr. Big showed and excelled in all disciplines, especially the hunter/jumper ring. He is trained in both english and western, jumped up to 4' in his prime. Used for beginners to advanced riders. He is also a fantastic trail horse and is also trained in harness.
Big was with us for 9 years and has found a fantastic new partial retirement home at Rocking Horse Ranch in Cape Breton.

Toupie aka Miss Crimson Pines is a half sister to our resident stallion, Crimson Santana. Toupie is a 15.2hh, 7 year old skewbald tobiano Paint mare. She is absolutely stunning, has great conformation and is trained both english and western; she used in our school and on trail rides for intermediate beginners and up. Toupie is a loving, kind mare that loves nothing more than attention. Unfortunately, she has a torn muscle in her hind end that keeps her from being able to undergo the daily work of the riding school. We are looking for a forever home, preferably with someone that will do light hacks and trail riding. She has fantastic bloodlines and great conformation also, which would also make her a great candidate for a broodmare.
Toupie has found a wonderful new home with Carole in Truro, we wish her and her new owner many years of happiness and hope she enjoys her as much as we have.

Peaches aka Ima Tiny Peach is a 16 year old buckskin pinto Welsh mare that stands 10.1hh. Peaches is one of our smalls and has many shows under her belt. She is a proven broodmare, has a sweet pony-like temperament and has been used in our school for 9 years. Peaches is also trained in harness and has taken children in lead line classes. She can be a bit forward at the canter, so not recommended for a total beginner. Peaches has some allergies in the summer, but is easily manageable with some meds during the season. We would like to find her a loving new home where she can make some little person very happy.
